If a Liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat banned for everyone and calls anyone else who's not a vegetarian a murderer.

If a Conservative is a homosexual, he quietly lives his life.
If a Liberal is a homosexual, he has to let the whole world know and he demands legislated respect.

If a Conservative is down and out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Liberal wonders who will take care of him and make it all better.

If a Conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he changes the station.
If a Liberal doesn't like a talk show host, he slanders him on the internet and everywhere else, and demands the host to be fired.

If a Conservative does not believe in God, he doesn't go to church.
If a Liberal is a non-believer, he wants all mention of God and religion to be silenced and he tells others how stupid they are for believing.

If a conservative needs health care, he shops around for it or chooses a job that provides it.
A liberal demands the rest of us pay for his health care.

Conservatives will read this and have a good laugh.
Liberals will be offended.

I Canceled my Subscription; I Don't Want Your Issues...

I'm going to get started in this new blog really soon...I've just been procrastinating this week. I just needed to get something off of my chest though...

Most of the people I know, who will ever read this, are over the age of 25. Regardless of how you got to where you are in life or who has screwed you over, one thing is constant: You are your OWN PERSON!

YOU are responsible for YOU.

YOU are responsible for YOUR DECISIONS.

YOU are responsible for YOUR FAILURES and YOUR MISTAKES.

Regardless of how you got to where you are now, you made a choice that led to you getting there. Don't blame other people for your life being fucked up; you chose to get involved with those people, and to stay with them when they started making your life crap. Don't blame other people for your doubts and for selling yourself short when they seek self-improvement; if you are jealous or if their new-found confidence makes you doubt your own decisions, act on your own feelings! Don't shit in their Cheerios because they chose to lift themselves up. They are choosing to improve their life, not cast darkness on yours.

YOU and YOU ALONE are the master of your destiny. If you fall asleep at the wheel or drive carelessly, it is your own fault if you crash or get off at the wrong exit. No one is holding a gun to your head and hijacking your dreams. Take some fucking responsibility and stop blaming the world for your unhappiness people. To grab the world by the balls, you first have to have the balls to reach up and take hold.
